Sherry Garvie

With decades of experience in sales, account management and customer service, Sherry Garvie brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to Midwest Sportswear Workwear & Safety.

Sherry is known for her steadfast commitment to her clients and an uncanny ability to find unique and creative solutions to their needs. She takes the time to understand each client and their goals, building trusted relationships that go well beyond a single project or order.

Little-known fact: Sherry has a closely guarded cookie recipe that very few people have been lucky enough to taste. The recipe remains a secret—and apparently, so does how you get on the cookie list.

Kevin Hughes

With a wealth of experience in the promotional products and apparel industry, Kevin Hughes believes great client relationships start with listening. He takes pride in understanding his clients’ needs, introducing fresh ideas and helping them find creative ways to make their brands stand out.

Kevin also believes strongly in giving back to the community. For eight winters, he volunteered with the Varsity View Community Association, teaching Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey every Saturday morning—braving more than a few frosty Saskatchewan mornings along the way. He has also volunteered with the Salvation Army Kettle Program.

Little-known fact: When summer arrives, Kevin trades the outdoor rink for two wheels. An avid mountain biker, he logs an impressive 1,200–1,500 kilometres each summer.

Nick Severin

Nick enjoys helping businesses find the right workwear, apparel, and promotional gear—and making the process a little more fun along the way. A University of Saskatchewan Edwards School of Business grad and former Huskie track & field sprinter, Nick knows a thing or two about competition, hard work, and occasionally running when someone says there’s free food!

Fun fact: Nick was once offered a spot on the Canadian Olympic track team, but turned it down to pursue his true passion: selling embroidered work jackets.

Alana McComber

Hey! I’m Alana, the newest addition to the sales fam at Midwest. When I’m not at work, I’m probably hanging out with my fiancé and my doggo, getting or giving another tattoo, cruising the city streets on my e-bike (because walking is overrated!), cooking up something delicious, or diving into my latest crafty creation.

Fun fact: Octopuses are my favorite creature! (They have 3 hearts and 9 brains!) I’m always up for a good conversation, a creative project, and making every day a little more adventurous.
